Elizabeth is quite possibly the most important character in the game. At an early age, Elizabeth is given up by her mother, and brought to a tower owned by Comstock. Under close observation from Comstock, they monitor her from a very early age. They later discover Elizabeth is quite different. Elizabeth has an incredible ability, allowing her to create Tears, a means to bring an alternate reality to the world, allowing her to not only jump from time to time, but from reality to reality. She is smart, resilient and has a talent for lock picking. As the story progresses, Elizabeth will play a large role in Booker DeWitt's journey, as he tries to uncover the truth about his past.
